I just finished reading the BEST book. It was this month's selection in my book club. I must admit that it was a slow start but once I got into it, I was totally hooked. I can't wait to see the movie!

Kate! Your mom's b-day looked so fun. And I am so happy you liked Kite Runner. I really did too and so was scared to see the movie but I actually loved it! I hope you will too. Now, have you read A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author?? If not, you HAVE to! Everyone feels different, but for me I liked it even better than Kite Runner! I'm reading Thornbirds right now. Yes an oldie but one of my mom's "musts." I am finally getting into it. Geez long book review from me :)
I haven't yet read that book but I did see the movie. Great movie but very intense as I'm sure the book is. I have read the book A Thousand Splendid Suns by they same author and that is a fantastic book. Makes me truly grateful for the country I live in, the freedoms I have, and the many blessings I have been given. I'm always looking for new books to read so let me know which ones you like.
