The Fourth Fiesta

We had a 4th of July party at Allie and Aaron's new condo. They have a great little pool and shaded area. So we enjoyed Sub sandwiches and swimming.

I enjoyed this pic of Allie and Aaron. We bought new rafts to float around in the pool. I'm so grateful that Aaron aired mine up. Ummm, and he had to air Allie's up too. I know it looked like she did the work- but what you see is what she did. She didn't know you had to squeeze the opening and no air was getting through. AND she ended up lightheaded. Silly Allie.

Me, Kristie and Ryan. Our party was the best.

Allie's condo has posted rules that absolutely crack me up. Rule #10 says "no boisterous play" and Rule #14 says that you "must obey the rules." They have a rule to obey the rules. Isn't that the best?!

That night we went and got gelato. It was so yummy. I had chocolate peanut butter and peanut butter cup combined. Sound delish? Not to worry- it was.

We caught Gilbert's Old Fashioned Fireworks show. I love fireworks. I love fourth of July. And I love remembering the traditions we had from when I was little in Coolidge. Lighting sparklers, having a BBQ with Craig and Tami Hiscox. Oh and they had a son named Aaron. And we could watch the Coolidge Fireworks show from the front yard.
