"And I Don't Want the World to See Me..."

Don't be surprised. We went to another concert! One of my all-time favorite bands, the Goo Goo Dolls were performing at the State Fair this year and we HAD to go. They put on a wonderful show. And in case you're wondering- my I POD play list alternates between New Kids and Goo Goos. Ha.

So- we were just going to get the general admission because of all of our concert going recently and the stuff we have coming up. But once we got to the Coliseum the shady man approached us with close tickets and said he'd sell them to us for $5. So we bit at the offer, regretting the decision when he handed the tickets over and they had been ripped and had a big red slash through them! But they ended up being legit and we had WONDERFUL seats and the concert was a blast.

Sometimes I forget how OLD the Coliseum is. It used to be the "it" place for concerts. Check out the nasty seats now. They need to be torn out and replaced.

Here we are waiting for the show to begin. We were actually waiting for someone to come and kick us out. Once the show began, we actually moved to some seats that were a little closer.

Here is the lead singer- Jonny Resznik. I think he might have been stoned, but he was still hot. The other singer (to the left) I think is what Satan looks like. He's absolutely hideous. He performed the whole show without shoes, and a Mickey Mouse shirt. His voice literally sounds like nails to a chalkboard. (If you would like an example go listen to "January Friend." Oh and I don't think he showers either. (Man- I sound very judgmental!)

I know everyone is on the edge of their seats wondering what concert/show the Askins' girls will go to next. Well, I'm not telling so you'll have to wait for pictures.
