UPDATE

Now that the Holidays have come and gone- it's time for me to go back to work. I had a great break and this semester is going to be full of lots of stuff to look forward to. Here are some random thoughts about my break:

First of all: I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to this adorable girl! Word on the street (or her sister's blog) has it that she is gonna have a baby! I'm so happy for her. We love you Kipster Pipster Daniel Webster!

Christmastime was wonderful for my family. I feel so blessed with the best family in the world. Our family tradition is to spend Christmas Eve with my dad's side. We ALWAYS take the same picture in front of the Christmas tree each year.

We drew names for Christmas this year and my brother had me. He got me the set of scriptures that I wanted SO BADLY. I'm SO LUCKY to have such a thoughtful brother. I love him.

New Years Eve we went to San Tan Flatts with some friends. Even though it wasn't Disneyland (Audrey) we had a lot of fun. We ate, roasted marshmallows and listened to the music. No- we didn't dance.

Isn't Brad so cute? He cracks me up.

I love my girlfriends too! We always have a blast together.

To end my break- Brad and I went to San Diego. We had so much fun, even though it was SO COLD there. I had to wear so many layers just to stay warm. He took me to Balboa park since I had never been there before. It was so beautiful! Thanks for such a wonderful vacation Brad. XOXO.

And it wouldn't be MY post without giving some commentary on the new Bachelor series. Audrey and I were both excited for Jason to be on the show. Although, to be honest, I think he has a sweet personality, but I just do not find him good looking. I mean, he isn't ugly. But the girls got out of the car saying "Oh he's so hot..." I would never go there...

And I hope I can watch the whole season. I was very disappointed with the girls he chose. Okay- what is up with him leaving all of the normal girls without a rose and choosing the ones who are absolutely NUTS? I mean, one is a stalker, one looks like she's 50...

I could go on and on. But instead, I'm going to wait until next week and see who he eliminates. AND- if he even takes DeAnna back, I'm going to have to write him a poem myself. Do you think his self-esteem is low enough to take DeAnna back? Just because she didn't get any publicity from the breakup with Jesse, doesn't mean that she's entitled to more TV time. DeAnna, you are not a celebrity. Get off your high horse and get a job!

First off, I have to correct your statement. I find Jason VERY attractive, I mean VERY.. he is my kind of guy. Numero 2- I didn't think that girl was a stalker. She did her homework. Before you go out with a guy, don't you talk to people that know him and find out dish on him? Yup, you do cause you ask me.... This is going to be a great season, I just know it! :)

Ahh Kate!! Thanks for the shout out!! We are super excited :) And I agree with you, I may have thought it was a ranch announcment too since Shell picked the most random ranch pictures ever! But truly what else would we expect from Shell?? And yes, you and Brad are super cute. And I love that picture of you and Na Na (do you ever still call him that?) Oh, and thanks for the heads up, I may have to jump into this bachelor's season. Great post! (and not just because it featured yours truly.)
