So during my Fall Break I visited the BEST family ever. I got to see my good friend Julie and her adorable family. I didn't want to post pictures of her kids for privacy but trust me, they are so cute. :)
Jules was the best hostess. She took me to the View Point Inn for lunch where they filmed the Prom scene for the movie Twilight. So cool.
We took a drive through the gorge. Here we posed in front of Latoral Falls. There were so many gorgeous waterfalls along the drive. It was beautiful- especially with the changing leaves. I had to ask Julie why they did that. ;) haha.
My favorite- the Rainbow Sorbet- at the Rose Garden. (They smelled delish)
Jules took me to the Bridge of the Gods. It was really cool.
Here is the other side of the same bridge. Look at the trees! Such a novelty for a girl from Arizona!!
JULES- I think I want THIS fabric. (but if you see any cute, bright Christmas fabric- I'm open to suggestions.)
Kristie and I at the Lady A concert!! I'm seriously such a fan now. They were awesome.
This group is awesome. And they sing my favorite song! LOVE IT!

what a fun trip. and i agree those trees are a novelty. i asked nate the other day why they did that when we saw some on tv. haha. your m.j. post made me laugh. gare had the same obsession. and i want to be a seamstress too! i remember when you and shelly would get together at nana and papa's and come home with all sorts of creations! :)
Isn't Oregon just the best? I miss it so much, but am glad that you got to experience the beauty of fall there.
Oh my gosh that's Julie!!!! I haven't looked at your blog in forever and was scrolling through your posts. I haven't seen her in so many years. How great that you guys have stayed such good friends after all these years. Please tell her hello for me next time you chat!! What a fun trip and gorgeous too!
