One of my favorite things to do to relax is to read. My summer reading list is like 50 books long. I continuously purchase books and keep them in a pile. My friend, who is a librarian, says I am a publisher's dream. :) I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I already read The Kite Runner and loved that as well. The last few days I have had in depth discussions with my family over some of the issues raised in this novel. If you have read it, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. If you have not, I suggest making it one of your next reading selections.

This was a great book, I really enjoyed it. It made me realize, once again, how truly blessed I am, as a woman, to live where I do and have the rights, liberties, freedoms, and blessings that I have and enjoy!! Glad you enjoyed it. You sound like me, with the piles of books everywhere. I have come to the conclusion that I will never be able to read all the thousands and thousands of books that I want to! Just not enough time in the day!
