So, what have I been doing? I love having a summer break. I could get used to this life. I have been somewhat productive. You may be surprised to hear that I:
Spent some time at Sunsplash. Yes, I realize that I'm 29, but a few trips down that waterslide never hurt anyone. Although I did get whiplash on one of the rides that is affectionately coined "the toilet bowl."
I Actually finished cleaning out my storage unit. What am I going to do with the extra $120 I save each month? I'm thinking of INVESTING! (In clothes that is...) Totally kidding. I'm going to save for a house to put all of the crap in that was in the storage unit. And I must thank Cheryl for letting my store my dresser at her house. I was really stressing about where I would keep it.
Audrey has me addicted to the Bachelorette. I don't know why I actually care who she chooses. We all know that the bachelorette, DeAnna and her main squeeze will grace the cover of USWeekly around Christmas time to declare that "they are parting ways." And that, "a whirlwind romance was never convenient for someone to find his or her soul mate." But alas, I am watching. Planning my gym workout around the episodes. Screeching with Audrey at every affection shown. And the rose ceremonies about send me to the Emergency Room with anxiety ridden ulcers! So our final two choices are:
This nut job, Jesse, who claims to be a professional snowboarder. Sometimes he looks cute, other times I want to gouge my eyes out. And, there come a time (perhaps when you are cast on a nationally televised dating show) that one should trim his hair.
And unlike Audrey, I find Jason so sweet he's going to give me a toothache. No one can be that nice all of the time. And if he really was, It would drive me crazy. Who will she choose?
Well the guy I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN was:
Graham.
The athletic, hot jock. Who cares if he doesn't communicate well? Communication is overrated. I'm perfect for him. I don't communicate well in romantic situations either. Who cares if he is one or five cards short of a romantic deck? The guy is cool. He's hot. He plays basketball. (although, I've never heard of him. I wonder if he chills with La Brawn James! haha.)
Well I'm off to find the perfect pair of shoes. (and pay for the upcoming season of Broadway musicals that Audrey and I signed up for. Seriously- It's a sickness.)

Sorry, but I am with Audrey on this one. Jason is way better than any of the others on there. The very first night I just thought he was the best choice. Jesse is cool and all, but seriously I just don't see her with a snowboarder in desperate need of a haircut. As for Graham...come on, he seriously has issuses with more than just romance. He can not COMMITT for longer than 4 weeks. So, what about Jerehmy, were you rooting for him at all? He was pretty heartbroken.
Whew, thanks for letting me chat about this show, I miss work where we would talk about this every week. Can't wait for the final show.
Katie, Katie, Katie. You have a lot to learn little girl. Graham is hot, but the communication thing could get old after awhile. I understand DeAnna's reasoning.. that would have been risky on her part. Why am I so passionate about this show? I haven't felt this way since Trista and Ryan AND they are still together...

We're guilty too. That is a show we tend to watch each week, however, We will be missing the finale because we'll be flying back from Hawaii. Please record it Katie!! I say Jason all the way!! Jeremy was a stalker and Jesse just needs to continue to snowboard. Graham,on the other hand is just not ready for anything it seems. He was just in it for the competition. As far as pro basketball, he was pro in Germany, if you call that pro!!

You crack me up! Cale and I watch the Bachelorette as well, and are rooting for Jason (sorry!). Although, I agree that Graham was the hottest (in fact, I love the name, too, but wouldn't that be mean to name this one Graham Dillingham?)
The bridal shower looked like fun...and I am so jealous that I don't look like Shelly. She looks like 5 months along!
Katie! You have such good taste :) I am soooo with you on Graham! TEAM GRAHAM ALL THE WAY!! I wanted to kill DeAnna when she sent him home! We were pausing and rewinding the tivo trying to read what his letter said!
What is her problem, anyway? On the hometown date when she was asking Graham what he was thinking, I wanted to smack her. Poor guy wasn't thinking about anything! She doesn't want a dude, she wants a guy that acts like a girl!
That being said, I think Jason is so sweet! She better pick him. There is something about Jesse that bothers me. It might be the memory of the jacket he wore on the first night. He does look cute in a hat though. He needs to work that!
The Bachelorette is like crack for me this year! I can't get enough! We should have Bachelorette viewing parties next season!
