So we are enjoying MLB All Star Break. (in the midst of wedding bliss) I have to say that I have great taste. I base a lot of my predictions out of shear shallowness. That being said, usually the good looks back the talent. And that my friends is where my good judgment comes into play. (or maybe I am THE luck.)
So yesterday while I was running my little heart out at the gym, I was watching the Home Run Derby. As they announced the participants, I chose who I would cheer for- blindly based on appearance. :) JUSTIN MORNEAU from the Minnesota Twins. Very cute. I cheered this little hottie into victory.

Meet Home Run Derby Champion 2008- Justin Morneau.

I found my next purchase (well after the chocolate shoes I have to buy to match the dress I'm wearing to the wedding on Friday).
Meet the cutest shoes I'm getting at Nordstrom this weekend. A little treat to bribe myself to get ready for work in the next few weeks.

Is she not the cutest? My friend JoAnne is the greatest. And she has the best fashion sense. (We oftentimes show up wearing the exact same outfit or go buy the outfit that each other has on.)

AND...I cannot believe I did it. Last night I watched the bachelor update. "Where are they now?" I found it unbelievable that they suckered me into watching another hour only to tell me everyone is dating or married to someone OTHER than who they met on the bachelor!! Well, except Trista and Ryan. And, let's face it- She just LUCKED out. He is PERFECT. I didn't know anyone could say and think such perfect things. He has to be a robot or something. I especially like when DeAnna and Jesse visited them to see if they could unlock the "secret to Trista and Ryan's longevity." Face it DeAnna- you chose Jesse. There really shouldn't be any longevity. And by now she should realize that the head-bobbing doesn't bode well on television.
